MGP stands for Machine Graded Pine. MGP10 is a strength grade that’s commonly used in house framing — strong enough for walls, floors, and roof framing.
MGP12 timber is slightly stronger and stiffer than MGP10. It’s used in jobs that require more load capacity, like longer spans or high-load areas.
Treated pine isn’t usually needed indoors unless you’re building in a termite-prone area. We can help you choose the right grade for your site.
